I compared this with a cheaper ceremonial grade matcha and a good quality culinary grade matcha. There was a clear difference in the flavour, this one tasting the best and the culinary grade tasting very harsh. I wouldn't go so far as to say I like the taste. It depends what you mix it with but it is strong flavoured, very herby and slightly bitter.Many of the alleged health benefits of matcha are completely unproven, however, it is very high in the antioxidants found in green tea so probably does you a bit of good.(Read more)
